This is from Halloween, when we did Friday night public viewing at the physics building. But there's a reason for posting this pic today.
Tonight, if you look up in the sky, you'll see the three brightest objects in the sky right next to each other in an inverted triangle--the moon, Venus, and Jupiter (in decreasing order of magnitude). They won't appear to be that close again until 2052. Cool, huh?
