Just want to say I think Steven Chu is an awesome pick by Obama for energy secretary--he won the 1997 Nobel Prize in physics, is currently the director of Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and has used his positions to push for research into technology to reduce greenhouse emissions. His Nobel Prize came for his work on laser cooling of atoms, which he once described with this line: "The atoms become like a moth, seeking out the region of higher laser intensity." Won't it be great to have an energy secretary who actually knows what energy is?

On an unrelated note, I am so glad to be done with finals.
